We are a Women's Morris Dance side previously based in the Old Town area of Hastings but have now moved to Bexhill. The side was formed in 2003 and is called Oojah Kappivvy.
We dance at various times and locations, as can be seen from our programme and photo gallery. We often meet up with other Morris Sides and a session of music and singing is not unknown to take place after the dancing.
The dances we perform are in the Cotswold tradition from Headington, Adderbury, Hinton, Bledington and Eynsham.
Our practices are on Friday evenings, 8-10pm, but not every week - for up-to-date info. If you are interested, please come along to our venue in Bexhill and see what we get up to. All newcomers will be made welcome.
Autumn is a great time to join a Morris Side - learn some dances to perform in the Spring.
Come along, give it a try and have some fun.
Our practice venue is:-
The Albatross Club (RAFA)
